3 Monster Concepts for a custom TTRPG setting (The timelapse and final images don't match because I updated them post recording).
Cacophony: A creature of unknown origin, suspected to hail from a higher dimension. A Cacophony will appear exclusively underground, due to its vulnerability to UV rays and enter a dormant phase where it listens to the psychic noise of the civilizations under which it has appeared. Its mouths will begin to chatter, echoing what it’s heard and these thousands of voices call to individuals with potent psychic energy, luring them to join the chorus inside its many maws, growing its own psychic powers, learning spells or information and most importantly: erasing the memory of the victims from those who hear its voices. Ironically, the safest place is closer, within the Cacophony’s lair, where tunnels and caverns distort its voice, fading away as harmless echoes.

Omen of Famine: Classified as one of the Harbingers of the Apocalypse, Omens of Famine appears Human on the outside, but the body is a shell that serves as a vessel for Shadow Magic and aside from that, it is hollow and relatively fragile, similar to a ceramic. Omens often appear in settlements, blending in with the populace or bringing abundance and good fortune while the influence of the Shadow Realm leaks out and ruins the world around them, or they sabotage the settlement’s defenses to invite destruction, revealing their true nature. Omens of Famine will often arrive in villages struck by drought, bringing abundance and prosperity to gain trust and favor until it’s too late to stop them from reaping their true harvest—the souls of the people in that settlement.

Arachne Demon: This Demon is easily able to blend in among Spider- or Scorpion-People (Arachnoids), save for their ability to shapeshift enough to sprout arachnid features, such as chelicerae, spider-legs, multiple eyes, etc. They can manipulate shadows to spin into thin threads capable of slipping under the skin to seize control of muscles and nerves, forcibly and discreetly puppeting their victims or to create garotte wires capable of strangling or easily cutting through victims. Additionally, Arachne Demons can spray a powerful acid from their mouths, something Spider-People are not capable of, and is incredibly difficult to neutralise or defend against. Its components are unknown and it is suspected to not be acid, but a unique Spell instead.
